About Me

Being born in 1962 in the German Democratic Republic I know what's it like to live in a divided country speaking the same mother tongue. It may have influenced my work but not to a great extent since my love belongs to Italy actually. Being able to visit this country for the first time was a result of the reunification of both German countries and I'm endlessly thankful for this experience. Today Italy is like a good friend to me; I'm highly interested in the period of the Renaissance where the art of painting, of sculpture and architecture was re-invented, developed and brought to perfection.

I started writing when I was a kid but none of these early pieces survived, so it really got me again years later when I got the inspiration of a gay story read on the Internet. Since the first story was finished I somehow couldn't stop myself. Currently I'm working on another project. My stories range over a wide spectrum from short stories, set in ancient Greece, to contemporary novels dealing with romance, faith, crime and mystery.
